Design, retail, technology, finance — then JKCA.
Started building websites in the mid-2000s. JKCA opened the doors in 2011 and hasn't closed them.
Before this shop, I was a Business Partner at Apple (2007–2009) and worked in financial services at FMC Financial Group (2009–2011). That mix — design, retail, technology, finance — is the reason I can switch from a Big Sur cliffside resort to a 40-year sunflower seed brand to a healthcare fintech without missing a beat.
JKCA opened in 2011 in Seal Beach, California. Most of the year I'm at sea level on the Pacific. Summers, I'm at Knepper's Alaska Fishcamp on the Kenai Peninsula — a family operation since 1988. Both places anchor what I do — coastal, place-rooted, slow-built.
I work with founder-led brands across hospitality, food, fintech, education, retail, and lodging. The work that lasts is the work I've been doing for the same client for ten-plus years.
